Day 2

Saturday, October 17th
Justin Espada and Britta Eggars Espada Wedding Reception
Milwaukee, WI

After a long night of debauchary, we awoke to head to our next destination. When we began booking this tour, our Milwaukee date fell on the same day as our good friend Justin Espada's wedding. We assumed this would pose a problem for all of our Milwaukee friends would we be attending his celebration, until he asked us to play it. It was truly a unique experience. No YMCA, Chicken Dance, Hustle... I would say we offended a few of the older folks, but overall we had a great time. After the reception, an afterparty was held at a local bar for which I can't remember the name. Detroit's own Tour Detroit crew came out to DJ the party. Once again, we got faced. Ryan banged some girl with a sword tattooed on her ass. We stayed at Lou Balls' house and met his amazing dogs.

Day 1

Friday, October 16th
Mulligans Pub w/ Lights At Sea
and Ambassador
Grand Rapids, MI

This show was a great way to kick off tour. We've known the Lights At Seas dudes for some time now so it was great to play in their neck of the woods for the first time. Ambassador were also amazing. Great crowd, great times! After the show we stayed at the Ambassador dudes' house right down the street from the venue. We proceeded to have some drinks and pogo stick. Jeremy picked up this hidden gem called "Ancient Age." If you are a bourbon drinker with a hole in your pocket, this is your drink.

Progress Report

Friday, October 3rd we played our first show in Flint. Unfortunately our intentions of watching all the bands and overdue hangouts turned out differently when we ran into work scheduling conflicts. In any event, as we departed from our native Detroit, my (Dustin's) body told me something wasn't right. As my chest tightened and breath shortened I realized I was having an anxiety attack. This held us back longer than our already unplanned tardiness. We arrived at the Salvation Army in Flint during Empty Orchestra's set. They sounded fabulous per usual. We went on after them. The show was a lot of fun. Met some new nice people and shared some pizza and drinks with our Flint chapter.

In other news, I would tell you the album should be done soon. I agree with myself. Truth be told, it is almost done. We will be back in the White Room in one week to finish the record and the "Recurring Dream" 7". We thank you all for being "kind of" patient.

No shows for a while. We have quite a bit on our plate right now as it is.

Sunday, November 23rd

Finally, we have converted our living space into what will be now known as the Part Loft Collective (PLC). Housed in the lofts of Eastern Market, the PLC is ran by us and a few close comrades alike. This will potentially be houseing future touring bands to play shows, a functional bike workshop, practice space, etc... This project is still in zygote form. Stay tuned.
